Your opportunity

 

As our Maintenance Inspector, you will carry out scheduled and reactive maintenance inspections on Councils assets across civil and marine infrastructure assets and vegetation management.

 

Guided by our Values, you will:

 

  • Undertake efficient, accurate and timely inspections of assets and prioritise defects within council controlled civil and marine infrastructure.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of Council services and processes, particularly in terms of optimising planned or programmed maintenance.
  • Prepare inspection programs and develop maintenance reports under the guidance of the maintenance coordinator to satisfy the requirements of relevant Asset Management Plans.

Eligibility

 

  • You'll hold a Minimum 3 years experience in the relevant field.
  • You'll have a Cert III Civil Construction -Road Construction and Maintenance or equivalent.
  • You'll hold a Current Class C Drivers License.
  • Successful applicants will be asked to consent to a police check. Please note that people with criminal records are not automatically barred from applying for this position. Each application will be considered on its merits.
