Salary
Up to $63,067 per annum (based on 76 hours per fortnight) plus additional allowances and the potential for overtime; plus superannuation and a 9 day fortnight. (Appointed salary in this range will be based on skills, qualifications and experience)

About the role
Your new role requires the ability to work in a close knit team and carry out a variety of tasks to ensure construction projects are carried out efficiently. You will provide assistance to the construction team with construction site procedures and undertake physical tasks to facilitate the completion of construction projects in an outdoor environment.

Some main duties include;

  • Undertake labouring duties
  • Carry out tasks as directed by supervisors
  • Carry out tasks required to complete directions specified by issued works instructions and verbal directions given by supervisors
  • Use resources such as tools, plant and materials on a work site in an appropriate, safe, efficient and responsible way
  • Aid in ensuring correct procedures are implemented and maintained at a work site for the safety of the public, employees and sub-contractors
  • Undertake any other tasks as required by the Site Supervisor within the skills, training and experience of the role.

Position requirements

  • Drivers Licence (Class C)
  • General Construction Induction card 

About you
Previous experience in construction is not essential however good listening, interpersonal and communication skills are essential to ensure directions are carried out promptly and accurately.
