As the Programs and Membership Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery and administration of our aquatic and recreation programs, with a strong focus on member engagement and program excellence. You will work collaboratively with staff to ensure smooth program operations, provide outstanding customer service, and help foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for all participants and members

Salary
$73,479 to $82,284 per annum (based on 76 hours per fortnight), plus superannuation. Appointed salary in this range will be based on skills, knowledge and experience.

About the role
Is it time for a career change?! An exciting opportunity exists for an Aquatic and Recreations Programs and Memberships Officer who is committed to providing excellent customer service whilst maintaining industry best practice with regards to aquatic programs, memberships at both Hornsby and Galston Aquatic and Leisure Centres. This role will require working regular Saturday shifts.

Position requirements
Your new role will require you to have the following criteria:
•    Demonstrate a can do attitude with high customer service and team support skills
•    Demonstrate strong computer software skills and knowledge
•    Willingness to complete Austswim or equivalent qualifications in the first 6 months
•    Willingness to complete Pool Lifeguard in the first 3 months
•    Current Advanced Resuscitation Certificate
•    Current First Aid Certificate
•    Current Working with Children Check

About you
We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic person with excellent communication skills.  You will have the ability to support aquatic and recreation processes and oversee, instruct and help aquatic staff with training and education.  You will work closely with the team to oversee Learn to Swim functions and ensure the delivery of high-quality aquatic programs. Your strong organisational skills will help you manage competing priorities, while your attention to detail ensures compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.
